Run away with the Circus
Once upon a time, Chris S. Rigged was a scientist, working on top secret government projects, but if they tell you more they'll have to kill you, so we'll skip ahead! After years of fluorescent lights, long commutes and moral dilemmas they just couldn't take it anymore and ran away to join THE CIRCUS!
THE CIRCUS was a place full of magic where they could inspire others and live out their dreams, becoming an exceptional instructor, choreographer, and performer, teaching all ages and skill levels all over the world!
As a coach, Chris strives to create a safe space for ANY BODY that wants to move, grow, create, and discover new things about themselves, all while making impactful connections with those around them. On stage and at immersive events, they are a vibrant performer, drawing on experience as a musician, belly dancer, fire performer, burlesque artist and aerialist to create dynamic pieces that transform into emotional experiences for the audience from both the ground and in the air.
Chris loves to collaborate on stage and in the classroom believing that the labor of creation strengthens community beyond all measure, making it possible for us to navigate this complex world together as compassionate humans.
Chris S. Rigged recently relocated to New Orleans, LA and is looking forward to making deeper connections in the southeastern US and growing their new production, Brass & Bones Cabaret. Contact them to bring new workshops and inspiring performance to your space!

Mission
Chris loves to connect with their audience from the stage, taking on a variety of characters, from ghoulish goblin to exotic enchantress, but their true art is building community for personal growth in the classroom.
Having struggled just to climb a silk for a month as a fledgling aerialist in her 20's, late by most entertainment industry standards, Chris' guiding tenant is that ANY BODY, no matter what age, size, color, physical, mental, or emotional struggles, CAN DO CIRCUS, if you are willing to show up and put the work in.
More than a decade later, since their first class, Chris lives and creates every day to show that you too can bring your dreams to life.
